St. Patrick's Parish

Our Mission

St. Patrick's, a warm, welcoming Roman Catholic Parish located in South Hadley , MA was founded in 1867 as a mission church of St. Jerome 's in Holyoke .

St. Patrick's is a place where all generations can practice our faith, receive the sacraments and be part of a caring parish family.

We are called to proclaim the Kingdom of God through the changes and challenges of our times as we link service, community and evangelization.

We strive to live out our mission through:

o Prayer and Liturgy

o Faith based education to all ages

o Service to the community

Our Goals

Goal I: To reach out to the members of our parish and engage them to become more active participants in parish life.

Goal II: To further expand our outreach by linking community and service together.

Goal III: To increase our social activities as a parish.

Goal IV: To grow as a spiritual community.

Goal V: To continue effective communication both in and outside of the parish.

Directions to St. Patrick's

Directions are given from Interstate I -91. This can be reached from exit 4 off the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to I-91 North.

I – 91 to St. Patrick's Church, 30 Main St. , South Hadley , MA

Take exit 16 off I-91 to 202 North through Holyoke Center . You will be on Beech St in Holyoke (2.5 miles). While on Beech St . , you will pass the Yankee Pedlar Restaurant on the left and Holyoke High School on the right. Continue on 202 North over the Mueller Bridge (Connecticut River). After the bridge you will come to a rotary. Take your first right onto North Main Street/South Hadley Falls. Follow North Main Street to the end. At the stop sign take a left at the Auto Body Shop onto Main Street, South Hadley. St. Patrick's Church will be on your left (1/4 mile). There is a parking lot right of the church and there is also one across the street.
