St. Patrick’s Corned Beef Dinner
St. Patrick’s has a long tradition of serving a corned beef dinner on the evening of Holyoke’s St. Patrick’s Day parade (the Sunday after March 17). The dinner features corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, Irish bread and home-made desserts. For entertainment, we offer raffles, Irish music and dancers.
St. Patrick’s parish picnic takes place at Buttery Brook on the last Sunday of August from noon until 3:00 pm. The picnic features hot dogs and hamburgers, beans, desserts and ice cream as well as cold drinks. Our entertainment features pony rides, a D.J. as well as games and prizes.
Meat Pie Supper
St. Patrick’s meat pie supper, held in the fall, features the authentic home style meat pies from St. Elizabeth’s parish in Ludlow. In addition to the meat pies, we serve potatoes, beans, and éclairs for dessert.
