St. Patrick’s offers a variety of programs for adults to deepen the knowledge of the faith.
We will have the following speakers to discuss prayer in our life:
April 9, 2013 – Virginia Collins-English will speak on- What is Prayer, How to Pray & Dealing with Distraction.
April 23, 2013- Rev. James Nolte will speak on the prayer of St. Ignatius.
May 7, 2013- Sr. Eleanor Dooley, SSJ will speak on praying the rosary.
St. Patrick’s Book Club meets periodically in the chapel for a discussion on books related to faith and life. The Book Club meets next on June 18th at 10:30am to discuss The Shoemaker’s Wife by Adriana Trigiani.
St. Patrick’s joined with St. Theresa’s Parish to offer a parish mission and retreat. Fr. Lucien Clark C.P. offered this year’s mission March 9-13th.
Bible Study takes place on an occaisional basis.
Year of Faith- Catholicism is a series of ten videos about the history and teaching of the Catholic Faith. Whenever it has been shown it has been enthusiastically received.
St. Patrick’s offered the series this fall on ten consecutive Thursdays beginning on September 13th. Each video ran from 40-50 minutes and there was time for discussion and questions. The sessions began at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm.
Each of the presentations is a complete unit. If you were away for one or two sessions, you could still benefit from the others.

4) Mary, the Mother of God
5) Peter & Paul and the Missionary Adventure
6) The Mystical Union of Christ & the Church
7) The Mystery of the Eucharist

10) The Last Things
The offering to cover the cost of materials was $5.00.
